Alternative K9 102 Replacement Flexible Shaft

The Alternative K9 102 Replacement Flexible Shaft includes a 49.2 ft (15m) flexible shaft, protective sleeve, and a pre-crimped adapter compatible with K9 102 machines manufactured before 2025. The adapter is already attached, eliminating the need for crimping tools during installation.

With a 1/4″ (6mm) shaft diameter, this is the thinnest option in our range. It is best suited for lighter tasks such as descaling or clearing soft obstructions in 2″ (50mm) to 3″ (75mm) pipes. Its flexibility makes it a practical choice for navigating multiple bends, tight turns, or working through toilet bowls and nearby junctions.

The shaft is not recommended for pipes below 1.5″ (38mm) in diameter due to its bend radius. While it lacks the torque needed for heavy chains in 4″ (100mm) pipes, it performs well with lightweight chain tools in small-diameter lines.

Users have noted that our shafts offer greater rigidity than original K9 102 models, helping to reduce coiling under torque and improving control during operation.

To minimize downtime, we suggest keeping extra connectors on hand. The area near the power source tends to wear faster due to stress from sharp bends and heat. Damaged sections can be trimmed and reconnected using a basic crimping tool, no welding required.
