Calibration Hoses
A calibration hose presses an impregnated liner against the host pipe wall during open-end CIPP installation and holds it there while it cures. Choosing the wrong hose for your cure method or pipe size is one of the most common mistakes in liner installation. It can mean a collapsed liner. The five hoses in this range cover ambient, hot water, steam and UV cure across DN50 to DN300 (2″ to 12″)

Got questions about Calibration Hoses?
Picking the right calibration hose comes down to two things: your cure method and your pipe size.
If you are working with ambient cure, the welded hoses are the right starting point. The violet covers DN50 to DN200 (2″ to 8″) and handles lines with frequent bends and diameter changes well. The green extends that range to DN250 (10″) with the same flexible construction. The transparent hose also works with ambient cure and adds one practical advantage: because it is clear, you can see resin bleed-out through the hose during installation, which takes the guesswork out of confirming liner contact.
For hot water or steam cure, none of the welded hoses are suitable. They are rated to 50°C (122°F) and will fail under the heat. The orange hose is built for this, rated to 80°C (176°F) with a heavier construction at 443 g/m² and tensile strength nearly double that of the welded variants. It covers DN100 to DN300 (4″ to 12″) and handles bends up to 45°. If your runs are straight or gently curved and your cure setup runs hot, this is the only option in this range.
For UV cure, you need a hose that lets light through. The clear stitched hose is transparent and has a stitched rather than welded construction, giving it higher pressure tolerance than the other hoses. It covers DN100 to DN300 (4″ to 12″) and is primarily used in DN150 (6″) and larger pipes.
All hoses are made from PVC, rated to 0.5 bar (7.3 psi) and sold in 100m (328 ft) rolls. Always run the hose over the liner in any free space between the liner end and the pipe opening. If the liner is left exposed in that gap, it swells before it reaches the pipe wall.
If you are working with open-end installation, you will also need a preliner to protect the liner during inversion. For lateral connection lining, connection bladders handle that part of the job.
