The Light X-Tip Chain is a lighter version of our most aggressive cleaning chain, designed for use with smaller shaft sizes or less powerful machines. It offers strong cutting performance while requiring less torque than the heavy-duty model.
Like the heavy version, the Light X-Tip Chain uses X-shaped alloy teeth fused to the chain links. These sharp edges act like blades, helping to remove roots, liner remains, rust, and scale from pipe walls. The tool centers itself in the pipe through centrifugal force, ensuring full surface contact during operation.
It’s made from stainless steel and uses thinner chain links than the heavy version, making it easier to control in smaller pipe sizes or where flexibility is more important than weight.
The chain is adjustable by shifting the connection hubs to work in slightly smaller pipes when needed. Mounts to your flexible shaft using hex set screws.
NOTE: Not recommended for use in PVC pipes, as the aggressive teeth can damage the pipe if held in one place.
