Calibration Hose, Orange

Most calibration hoses are not built for heat. The orange hose is. With a heat resistance of 80°C (176°F) and tensile strength of 82 N/mm² at the seam and 90 N/mm² through the material, it is the only hose in this range rated for hot water and steam cure. If your curing setup runs hot, this is the one you need regardless of what else is available.

It covers DN100 to DN300 (4″ to 12″) and is rated to 0.5 bar. The heavier construction at 443 g/m² compared to 407 g/m² for the welded variants gives it the durability to handle repeated heat cycles, but it also makes it stiffer. Maximum bend is 45°, so it is not the right choice for lines with tight direction changes. For those jobs the welded calibration hoses handle bends better. For straight or gently curved runs in larger pipes with hot water or steam cure, nothing else in this range comes close.

Using a thinner welded hose in a hot cure setup is a real risk. Those hoses are rated to 50°C (122°F). Push past that and the hose fails, the liner collapses and the installation is lost.

If you are curing with hot water or steam in DN100 to DN300 on relatively straight runs, this is the hose for it.
