Calibration Hose, Violet

When you're lining smaller pipes or systems with frequent bends and diameter changes, hose flexibility matters more than heat resistance. The violet hose is a welded PVC construction, which makes it noticeably softer than the stitched clear hose. It moves through 90° bends without fighting you and covers DN50 to DN200 (2″ to 8″), making it the right fit for the kind of lateral and branch line work where a stiffer hose would cause problems.

It presses the liner against the pipe wall during open-end installation and holds it there through the cure. Rated to 0.5 bar and 50°C (122°F). Ambient cure only. If your setup uses hot water or steam, you need the orange calibration hose instead.

Always run it over the liner in any free space between the liner end and the pipe opening. Skipping this lets the liner swell before it is seated, which is a problem you do not want mid-installation.

It can be reused multiple times but stiffens gradually with each job. If lubricant was used on the liner, some installers replace it rather than reuse. Store away from direct sunlight.
