The Friction Bearing Set is designed to reduce wear on the flexible shaft sleeve during high-speed operation. At typical speeds of 1200–2000 RPM, the shaft can gradually grind against the sleeve ends. These friction rings act as a barrier, protecting both components and helping to keep dirt from entering the sleeve.
Beveled edges allow the rings to move smoothly through pipe junctions during retrieval, minimizing the risk of snagging.
Each set includes two rings: one for the drill end and one for the tool end.
