Calibration Hose, Clear Stitched

UV cure requires the calibration hose to let light through. The clear stitched hose is built for exactly that. The transparent material allows UV light to reach the liner during cure, and the stitched construction gives it higher pressure tolerance than the welded hoses in this range, with tensile strength of 43 N/mm² at the seam and 59 N/mm² through the material.

It covers DN100 to DN300 (4″ to 12″), handles bends up to 90° and is rated to 0.5 bar (7.3 psi). Heat resistance is 80°C (176°F). It is primarily used in DN150 (6″) and larger pipes where the stitched construction handles the demands of bigger diameter UV installations better than a welded hose would.

For smaller pipes with tight bends, the welded transparent calibration hose is softer and easier to work through. For hot water or steam cure in this size range, use the orange calibration hose instead.

The hose stiffens with each use and may need the ends trimmed slightly between installations as they harden. This is normal and does not affect performance in the middle of the roll. Store away from direct sunlight and UV exposure between jobs, otherwise the material degrades before you get to use it.
